Day 8

Here we go again. The days are quickly winding down. Soon, only memories of the beach will exists to keep us warm during the long winter months.

This morning Stella is in one of her moods. And before long she is pinching Molly, calling here a baby bully, and making her mean face at her. After 45mins of crying, whining, timeouts, and more crying, and more timeouts. She is finally back to normal Stella.

This sets us back a bit, but we finally make it to the beach.

No Elijah with us again as this time they did actually get up pretty early and head out for fishing.  We'll see if they get anything.

Today at the beach, we decide to just walk down the water line. I think we got for about 1/2 a mile or so, at least we go until the girls started complaining and wanting to be picked up. Which although my back is in much better shape now, I still don't want to carry them. Anyway we find 2 pockets full of sea shells, 3 or 4 big shells, a fiddler crab, and a baby horseshoe crab.

We head back to the villa after an hour or so and eat a quick lunch.  They get back from the fising trip about the same time..

Brooke caught her first shark of the week.

Elijah inexplicably catches an oyster on a hook.
They catch a couple crabs as well.
Playing with the catches.

Later the little one are playing around in the villa and watching Scooby Doo again. This was the 3rd time we watched this particular episode, so I decide to head out with the boy to the pool for some much needed swimming lessons.

By they end he is doing pretty good, going underwater for a while and swimming for a good 10 -20 feet before touching.

We get back after a few hours and get cleaned up for dinner.

Tonight we are heading to The Crazy Crab for dinner, and then to a Dolphin watching cruise.
Chocolate milk and wine for the ladies.

 Molly enjoys the hush puppies.
Ted and the gang. Fitting that big E is with them, and not us, as he spent more time with them this week.
 Me and Smooter.

Dinner was very good, you get a TON of food, all very fresh. I settle for the fish and chips. But it is the best and most tender fried fish I have ever had. 2 thumbs up!

We rush to the 7:00 pm Cruise. the last 2, get on board, just as the boat is ready to take off. It was a very nice ride, weather was great all day, and nice and cool for the ride.

We see lots of stuff.
She was just tall enough to see thru the slit.

 Stella looking for dolphins.

Elijah gets to be captain for a short bit.

 Thanks Capt. Sonny.

We get back by 9:30 and I am totally spent. I hit the hay with the little ones. A nice 12 hour sleep is just what the doctor ordered.

 1 more day left :-(...
