Day 6

The day starts like most others, the monkeys get up and start jumping on the bed.  It wasn't until one of them bumped their head that we decided to get up.

Today Ted made some breakfast, can't remember but I think it was a bit of everything.. Fruit, pancakes, eggs, cereal.

It has been raining all morning, sometimes hard, so we sit around and take it easy.

A game of Pretty Pretty Princess was played.

Take that mean octopus.

We eat lunch, just left overs, which we have alot of, and try to figure out what do to with the rain. We settle on going to the Wonder Works.

We pack up the car and the kids and Ted does the same.  The rain comes and goes as we get to our destination. Grandma and Grandpa stay back, as they are getting ready for the Casino later in the day.

As we get closer it becomes apparent that everyone else in Myrtle Beach has the same idea. We finally get a parking spot and get in line.  Ted who got there just a few min before us, said it was a 2 hour wait, and there was a lost kid inside..

After a quick discussion we don't think anything is worth waiting 2 hours for in the rain, and with 2 little ones.   So we start walking around, the rain is only a slight drizzle and we try to stay under the canopies as best we can.  After a bit it starts to rain harder, and we are not finding much to do here yet, so we hide under an bigger roof and talk about what to do.

Ted says there are some movies that are playing in North Myrtle beach, but that won't work out for the girls, and we see a Build a Bear workshop just  a few feet away. So we part ways. Its the babes with me and the wife and E went with Ted 'n kids to the movies.

Build-A-Bear had a line as well, about 30 mins just to get in the building. The rain was coming down harder and there was only a little bit of room to keep dry. But we decide to "bear" it out and go ahead and give them something to do. For the most part it worked out. Although there were a few hiccups, like Stella kept changing her mind, and a piece of fuzz getting stuck in my eyes, and the one stuffed animal tie stings were broke, so he had to be sewn by hand from the specialist. But overall it worked out.  Here is what we made.
Stella picked out the bunny, Molly picked out the Kitty, and Kristina picked out the sting ray for Elijah.

We get back and eat a quick snack and just hang out. Tonight Kristina and I have reservations in a nice restaurant and Ma and Pa are doing the evening casino cruise. Ted and the rest plan to stay back and watch the NBA Finals Game 1.

It is Kris's time to cook and she is making Apple pork roll and salad. It is pretty good, but Austin doesn't care for it. He has leftovers.

They get back from the Movies about 6:30 or so. They watched Men in Black 3. They all seemed to enjoy it.
After dinner we get showered up and dressed for our night out.

We are going to the Collectors Cafe.  It is right down the road about 2 mins from our hotel.  This place is pretty nice, since we already had a dinner we just get a few appetisers and drinks. We both try a spicy sea food soup. It was a bit spicy for her, but I really liked it. Next we each try one more appetiser both were good. After dinner, there is almost no one here, so we get a drink and walk around the place for a bit. They have a lot of cool art work on the walls, 6000 sq feet to be exact. We take our time and just enjoy the ambiance for a while.

After dinner we stumble around the resort, exchanging smooches,  and eventually get back to villa, where we just happened to meet up with Kristina's mom and dad getting back from the casino trip. Seems like they had a good time, and they picked a good day to go, as it was Senior day and they got free boarding pass and free buffet. We chit chat for just a min, I think she told me they ended up just slightly for the night.  By this time it is well after midnight, so we tip toe in and try to get some shut eye.

Day 7 coming  soon ..
